Sand Dunes Frontier

Sand Dunes Frontier offers professionally guided interpretive scenic tours, sand rail tours, and ATV rentals on the central Oregon Coast. This area has the largest dunes in the U.S. with vast hills of sand and rolling valleys.

There’s something for everyone here. You can take one of their Big Buggy tours in one of their signature purple buggies and roll across the dunes for almost an hour, while you take photos and enjoy the scenery. Your interpretive guide provides fun facts and interesting information about the dunes and the local region.

If you’re up for something more adventurous, go on a Sand Rail Tour. A sand rail is a barebones passenger dune buggy that races across the sand, piloted by a skilled driver. Let them know just how much action you need, and they’ll deliver. If you can to venture out on your own, you can also rent an ATV so you can race around the dunes at will.
